Triple Threat: Jordan Brand, Travis Scott and Fragment team up for a collaboration on the Jordan 1 Low releasing 13/8

Travis Scott. Fragment. Jordan Brand. A three-way collaboration is a rare thing. So, when Jordan Brand announced that a Jordan 1 Low is coming in collaboration with both Travis Scott and Fragment Design, the hype went through the roof. As we count down the days to release, let’s take a look at what’s making this kick so highly anticipated.

This latest shoe has the same trademark design features as Scott’s previous take on the Jordan 1, with the most eye-catching feature being the reversed Nike Swoosh that appears of the lateral side. Beyond this, the shoe takes on the classic ‘black-toe’ structure, with the primary colours being black, white, and blue. However, the colour does also vary on the laces, with those being an off-white that contrasts nicely with the cleaner whites below it. More references to La Flame appear on the heel of the left shoe, with a face motif debossed below the ‘Cactus Jack’ name that intersects itself above.

Where this shoe separates itself from the previous Travis Scott Low is with additions from Japanese fashion house Fragment design. Debossed into the heel of the right shoe are the Fragment lightning bolts, a subtle detail that previously made their own Jordan 1 highs so coveted. These were to be expected on a Fragment-blessed shoe, but another more curious detail is the minute text found on the midsole. This text contains what appears to be the Travis Scott x Fragment x Jordan 1 Low’s tooling code. If this is an accurate code, then it will surely make a shoe that is likely to be heavily faked even easier to replicate.

The Jordan 1 Low x Travis Scott x Fragment Design releases on the 13th of August via Nike SNKRS.  Detailed images of this kick are provided below from SNKRS.
